Filming for 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Has Stopped Indefinitely

After Kim Kardashian's terrifying robbery in Paris, E! has shut down Keeping Up With the Kardashians indefinitely. From the sound of things, the hit show will resume at some point, but right now it's the last thing Kim -- who normally shares every detail of her life, no matter how personal -- wants to to think about. A spokesperson for the show told Variety, "Kim's well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume."

The back half of season 12 will return to the network on October 23 as planned, but production for the next season has been completely stopped for the time being. Not long ago, the Kardashian-Jenner family signed a three-year extension deal with E!, which would take the show to 2018.

In addition to halting KUWTK temporarily, Kim has also canceled numerous work engagements that she had in the upcoming weeks. She recently traveled from New York to Los Angeles, as well, as that's where she feels most comfortable. A source told Us Weekly, "She has canceled everything for the next several weeks and will not be working. She feels safer in LA and wants to be home with her family." Hard to argue with that.

From everything we've heard, Kim's harrowing experience has rocked her to the core. She's never been one to turn off the cameras when something challenging or drama-filled has been going on, so this is pretty big. Odds are, the Kardashians will start filming again in a few weeks when Kim has had time to relax a little at home, but the mom of two likely has a long road ahead.
