Kate Middleton Is Borrowing from Prince Charles's Style Book -- Say What?

Kate Middleton copies Prince Charles's style We all revere this princess as a style icon, but the source of her latest inspiration is both familiar and surprising. While touring Canada with her royal family, Kate Middleton was spotted dressed in a jacket she may have borrowed from Prince Charles. Yes, that's right, the Duchess of Cambridge is channeling her father-in-law by wearing a safari-style coat, which we dare say looks much better on her.

We've all seen Kate pay tribute to Princess Diana's style, but who would've expected her to take a page from this royal's apparel playbook? (Not us!) Take a look:

Naturally, Kate is radiant, while, sadly, Charles (pictured decades ago) looks a bit glum. We know Kate is no stranger to recycling looks she loves, but who thought she'd dip into Charles's closet? With that in mind, we'll probably see this jacket on her again and again. Her travels certainly take her to plenty of spots where she can use it.

Though there are some subtle differences in the details, the prince and princess are definitely twinning. Wonder if Will made the connection?

If this were a "Who Wore It Better" face-off, we'd say Kate wins hands-down. (Sorry, Charles!) But competing against the stunning and sporty mom would be a challenge for anyone, right? Can't wait to see what she wears on the rest of the tour.
