22 Candid Photos of Prince William That Make Us Melt

Will made an especially tiny new acquaintance while visiting a pregnancy outreach center called Sheway in Vancouver. Even a maybe future king can't resist tickling an adorable baby.

Will demonstrated his cupcake-decorating expertise while visiting the Caius House Youth Centre. Color us impressed by his frosting piping technique.

We don't know what's more adorable -- the little boy, or Will's reaction to the kiddo's overwhelming cuteness. The duke met his new friend while visiting St. Martin's on the Scilly Islands.

Will looked as charming as ever when he attended an event for the Wave Project. The charity supports children with learning disabilities by teaching them how to surf.

As much as Will loves meeting children who benefit from the many charities he supports, he loves his own kids most of all -- something that's abundantly clear in the candid photos taken of him with George and Charlotte.

Will gave us his best Paul Newman impression when he played pool during his visit to Bute Mills in support of Youthscape.

Will graciously accepted some champagne at a charity polo match. We hope no one expected him to share.

The Duke of Cambridge's enthusiasm for sports isn't just for show. He looked like he was experiencing true anguish at the Euro 2016 football championship in June.

Will's expression here cracks us up. He looks like he's saying, "I know, I know, even I can't believe how smashing I look in this tuxedo." Kate seems to feel the same way, and we don't blame her.

No, Will wasn't trying to impersonate a flamingo -- he was stretching to prepare for the Audi Polo Challenge. Will might not have engaged in this pre-game prep if he knew he was being photographed, but we are so glad he did. Look at that balance!

Will enjoyed some behind-the-scenes boxing instruction at the launch of the Heads Together campaign, an initiative he created with Kate to end the stigma associated with mental health.

Will was given a teddy bear when he visited the RNLI Tower Life Boat Station. We're sure the gift was meant to be passed to George or Charlotte, but surely the prince's charity work has earned him a teddy of his own.

Will appeared to be taking a gander through a garden wall at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show. Who knows what was on the other side. Narnia? Brigadoon? A secret gathering of the queen's corgis? We may never know.

The Duke of Cambridge unintentionally looked like C3PO's twin when the two shared similar stances on the set of *Star Wars: The Force Awakens.*

Will proved his parental instincts kick in no matter what species he's taking care of when he fed a baby rhino at the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation in Assan, India.

Will just can't help it -- he instantly becomes kids' best friend wherever he goes. That includes this Charities Forum event where he got to bond with some kiddos over *Shaun the Sheep–*themed activities.

Despite being in the middle of a crowd, William isn't shy about throwing a loving arm Kate's way. And in turn, Kate apparently can't resist getting a little handsy too ...

Aww. Who can resist this shot of William helping little Charlotte board a helicopter? It's obvious just how much he adores his children.

Either Kate is being particularly hilarious here, or these three are privy to some sort of inside joke. Either way, the look on William's face is priceless.

Who says the royals are stiff? William has a great sense of humor, and isn't afraid to let loose and have fun.
