28 Celeb Couples We'd Hate to See Call It Quits (Like, for Real)

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham at the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards at London Palladium in London, UK.

While there's no way to guarantee a relationship will enter the land of happily ever after, there are certain couples we really hope will ride off into the sunset. Given the sad news that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood's iconic couples, are calling it quits, we can only cross our fingers that our favorite romantic star duos are able to stand the test of time.

We're remaining hopeful that splitting up won't be the case for these celebrity couples.

From Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, just know we're rooting for your love.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

As sad as it will be to no longer have Barack and Michelle in the White House, we're certain their love -- and the passion they have for their causes -- will continue on. These lovebirds have been singing sweet nothings to each other since 1989, and we hope their romance continues until the end of time.

We don't know what Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos's secret to having a successful marriage is, but we're willing to take multivitamins -- and try our hand at reenacting Fifty Shades of Grey at home if need be -- to get the same results. They have been together for 20 years, are super hot, and have gorgeous kids. And more importantly, they look more in love by the day.

These proud papas don't miss a beat -- including planning the most festive holiday celebrations you'll ever see -- with their almost-6-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon. Neil and David are so in love and embody every sentiment of what the word means. We would be absolutely devastated should they ever choose to throw in the towel. (Nope, don't want to think about it.)

It's been six years since the two said "I do" in Italy, and we can't help but cheer for their love. We can only imagine the kind of fun they have in their house with daughters Hazel, 2, and Violet, 3 months.

  • Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky

Try your best not to stare directly at your computer screen. Chris Hemsworth (aka hottie Thor) and Elsa Pataky are pure FIYAH! Aside from being incredibly good-looking, Elsa and Chris are head over heels for one another and that keeps their love tank very full. They seem like they have a tight bond and are raising a lovely family. (Elsa and Chris have daughter India Rose, 4, and twin boys, Sasha and Tristan, 2.)

  • Matt Damon & Luciana Barroso

    Image via Valerie Goodloe/Splash News

After the world heard about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's split, all eyes shot to Affleck's bestie, Matt Damon, and his wife, Luciana Barroso. We can only hope these two are as strong as Jason Bourne is with an ordinary household object. Married since 2005, Matt and Luciana do whatever it takes to keep their family together. "We have a two-week rule. We don't allow ourselves to be apart," Damon once told People.

  • Hugh Jackman & Deborra-Lee Furness

    Date with this beauty @deborralee

A photo posted by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) on

Where would Wolverine be without his Wonder Woman? Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have been married for 20 years and endured everything from difficulties conceiving a child (the couple have son Oscar, 16, and daughter Ava, 11, via adoption) to horrible trolls who question Jackman's devotion to his wife because of her age (there's a 13-year age difference) and looks. But through it all, these two silence the world so they can focus on what's most important: each other.

Aside from making sweet music together, these country lovebirds have been happily married for 20 years and have spread their love into the world of parenting with their three daughters. Tim and Faith have been together for what seems like a lifetime, and we can't imagine them apart.

They're the proud parents of son James, 14, and twin girls, Marion and Tabitha, 7, and our world would completely be turned upside down if the couple ever separated.

These two really do deserve all the happiness in the world.

  • Angela Bassett & Courtney B. Vance

    Image via Johns PKI/Splash News

Child, if Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance ever separate, that would be one serious drama. Both are amazing actors. (Plus, Courtney might remember some legalese from playing Johnnie Cochran in The People v. O.J. Simpson.) Courtney and Angela have been husband and wife for almost 20 years, which is pretty ancient in Hollywood time.

  • Felicity Huffman & William H. Macy

A photo posted by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on

People love to speculate about the motive behind Bey and Jay's relationship (and what goes on between them), but we kind of think it doesn't really matter whether they're in it for love or fame or money or power or whatever. The bond between these two has been official since 2008 and if it were to end, we'd be heartbroken. No matter what. They're an It Couple, and we can't just let those go easisly.
