Kim Kardashian's Latest Ambition Is the Last Thing We Expected

Do you ever stop and wonder if she's a heck of a lot smarter than we give her credit for? Kim Kardashian wants to go to law school now, and while it's not an aspiration we would have expected from the reality star, it certainly is commendable.

In the new issue of Wonderland magazine, Kanye West's wife casually mentioned that she'd like to go to law school someday, you know, just for something to do once the limelight fades a little. She said, "If things slow down and I had time, I really want to go to law school. Just something I can do in my older age."

While she may be eager to follow in her late father's footsteps (Robert Kardashian Sr. was famously one of the attorneys on O.J. Simpson's defense team), it may be a bit more difficult than she knows. Kim never went the college route after graduating high school.

She didn't say what kind of law she'd like to specialize in, we're just going to go ahead and assume that she's tending toward criminal law. In an interview with Vogue Australia over the summer, Kim confessed to having crime-solving fantasies.

When asked what she would be doing if she weren't busy being famous (and taking eleventy billion selfies a day), she responded, "I would be a forensic investigator and live a normal life. I'm gonna be that annoying, pushy mom and say I want to live vicariously through my kids and have them be a forensic investigator."

More from CafeMom:

"I've always been into morbid things," she continued. "I was really nosy when my dad was working on the O.J. trial, and I would look through all his stuff, and I just wish I was in that field."

Well, Kim is only 35. There's plenty of time to achieve her dreams!
