The Duggars May Finally Be Done With Reality TV

Are they finally done for good? The Duggar kids might be quitting reality TV, a move which many feel is long overdue. The family has been the center of controversy for TLC over the last year and a half, thanks to Josh Duggar's multiple sex crimes and indiscretions.

After it was revealed in May 2015 that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's eldest child had confessed to molesting five underage girls (four of whom were his own sisters) as a young teen, the network pulled the long-running 19 Kids and Counting.

In August of that year, Josh was caught cheating on his wife Anna and their four beautiful children, and he subsequently entered a faith-based rehab facility for his alleged sex addiction.

TLC brought back a special, which then turned into a spin-off show, focused on the older Duggar kids, including how Anna was handling everything since being betrayed by her one and only.

Counting On is currently in its second season, despite multiple advertisers pulling out of running their commercials on the show. Jim Bob and Michelle made a surprise return this season, after (wisely) remaining off-camera in the first season. So far, Josh hasn't made an appearance, and hopefully will not.

But it might not even be an issue, since the latest rumor is that the Duggar kids are all ready to quit the reality TV life. The cover of an upcoming edition of Life & Style has a bold headline reading: Duggar Kids Tell Jim Bob & Michelle: WE QUIT!

It's hard to imagine that they'd be willing to give up the only source of income many of them have ever known, but on the other hand, maybe they just want to get on with their lives out of the public eye already.

Can't say that we blame them.
