Ariana Grande's Response to Nosy Love Life Queries Is Almost Perf -- but Not Quite

Ariana Grande

Recently, there's been quite a bit of speculation surrounding Ariana Grande's new flame with an old friend, Mac Miller. In a series of interviews, she's given mixed reactions when addressed about the matter. However, her most notable response is probably the one Ari just gave on On Air With Ryan Seacrest

When Ryan asked about a photo of the pair that she posted on her Instagram with the caption "baabyyy," the singer didn't bother pretending she was even slightly okay with being asked about her possible romance. So she put Seacrest in his place for his nosiness.

She told him, "If I post something, that's what I'm willing to share at the moment. It doesn't meant that you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners, is entitled to more information."

Yes, she makes a valid point. However, I feel that it becomes null and void for a few reasons -- the main reason being that Grande herself invited these questions by posting the pictures (accompanied by suggestive captions) on her Instagram account and essentially admitted that she was dating Mac Miller on The Ellen Show just days before her interview with Ryan Seacrest.

So why is it that she felt the need to clap back at him and not Ellen? Be consistent! You can't pick and choose when it is that you want to discuss certain topics in interviews after you've already let the cat out of the bag. If she had flipped out like that on each and every interviewer then I'd be singing a different tune -- I'd be all "go, girl, GO" ... but that's just not the case.

It all just seems suspiciously staged to me, and, in all honesty, that's the only way that I can wrap my head around that interview -- if this is somehow a big publicity stunt.

Either that or she's just a diva (which we've actually heard before), but looks like we may need to add this to the list of life's great mysteries.
