Rumors Roll That Kate Middleton Acted Inappropriately With an Olympian

It looks like everything is totally above board! The rumors that Kate Middleton was flirting inappropriately with Sir Ben Ainslie are apparently totally false -- not that we expected anything less.

The duchess reportedly engaged in a "flirt fest" with Sir Ben Ainslie last month, right in front of Prince William. The royals were attending the Portsmouth leg of the America's Cup on July 24, and according to Star magazine, Kate acted like a "giddy schoolgirl" in front of the accomplished sailor.

A source revealed to Gossip Cop that Kate absolutely acted appropriately, and the reports from Star that she was "flirting merrily with the sexy skipper" were "rubbish."

It wasn't the first time Kate has been linked with Ainslie -- last May rumors flew in May after she went on a training ride on his new catamaran. According to Star, the crush has been building since the 2012 London Olympics, where Ben won a gold medal.

According to the now-debunked Star story, George and Charlotte's mama flirted with the hunky sportsman right in front of her hubby. According to the source, she "toyed with her hair and batted her eyelashes, while her husband stood by, looking a bit like a third wheel."

We highly doubt Kate would act like a tween. Sure she was all smiles in the pics captured at the July event, but she's almost always all smiles. It's one of the reasons we love her so much -- she is such a genuine and happy person in general.

It sounds like people are just trying to create drama where there is none.
