Josh Duggar's Return to Reality TV Hits a Major Snag

Thank goodness! Despite reports to the contrary earlier this week, it looks like Josh Duggar is not headed back to reality TV. A source claimed that the disgraced Duggar would be making an appearance on Jill and Jessa: Counting On, but apparently that's completely false information.

Yesterday we heard news that Josh was going to tell his side of the story on Jill and Jessa's show, and we had to scratch our heads as to why TLC would make such a boneheaded move.

Counting On almost didn't even get a second season, after multiple advertisers pulled their commercials out of the Duggars' time slot. Even though TLC decided to bring it back to TV after canceling 19 Kids and Counting last summer, it angered a lot of people to be giving them any more attention.

Which is why we couldn't believe that they'd let Josh appear on the spin-off. It's one thing to focus on Jill, Jessa, and their siblings -- and even Anna -- but giving Josh air time seems like it would do more harm than good. Actually, we can't see how that would do any good at all.

However, People magazine has learned from a network source at TLC that the rumor that Josh will be on camera for the second season is "absolutely untrue."

Thank goodness for that! If Anna wants to stay with Josh, that's her decision. But it doesn't mean the rest of us care to see his face on TV again.
