Josh Duggar Is Headed Back to Reality TV

This really could go either way. According to reports, Josh Duggar is planning to make his return to reality TV in the upcoming second season of Jill and Jessa: Counting On. The TLC showed was renewed last month, and will air later this summer.

In 2015, Josh's molestation scandal got 19 Kids and Counting canceled from the network, but they later came back with the Counting On spin-off. That was hardly the least of Josh's troubles though, as he was caught several months later cheating on his wife with the Ashley Madison website.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's eldest child spent nearly seven months in a Christian rehab facility for his sex addiction, and Anna stood by his side the entire time. On the first season of the show, she stated multiple times that she was praying for God to restore her marriage, and insinuated that divorce was just not an option for her.

A source told In Touch that Josh is planning to appear on Jill and Jessa's show. They explained, "The plan is for him to address everything he's done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC -- and the Duggars -- know it."

But fans hoping for Josh to make a sincere apology may be out of luck. The insider explained, "Josh will cover everything and he will maintain the family line that God has saved his soul and guided him back to the right path. But one thing you probably won't hear is that he's actually sorry, as he believes that external forces were to blame for his behavior."

Um, sorry, but Josh needs to own up that it was all his fault. Otherwise there are probably going to be a number of angry viewers. After all, if he can't own up to how badly he messed up, has he really changed at all?
