20 Celebrity Kids Who Prove That Fame Is Definitely in Their Genes

Melanie Griffith, Dakota Johnson & Don Johnson

Like parent, like child? Well, as the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" -- which is why it's not all too surprising that many celebrity kids will try to follow in the footsteps of Mom or Dad (or both!) and become famous in their own right.

Some dabble in Hollywood, while others venture off to do their own thing. Whether you notice it or not, we're completely surrounded by celebrity daughters and sons on pretty much a daily basis. Here's a look at celeb kids whose stars are certainly on the rise.

  • Gigi & Bella Hadid

Even if you don't watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you probably know that Yolanda Hadid's daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, are tearing up the runway. Seriously, there is no magazine cover or luxury fashion brand that's not willing to sell their soul to get a chance to work with one of these girls. And guess what? Their brother Anwar is getting into the fashion game, too.

  • Lourdes Leon

It's hard to believe that Madonna's eldest child, Lourdes Leon, is almost 20 -- but it's true! The young star is on the rise, considering Lourdes just made her modeling debut as one of the new faces of Stella McCartney. Between her stylish campaigns and teaming up with mom on a clothing line called Material Girl, the sky will not be the limit for Lourdes.

  • Zoe Kravitz

Why yes, Zoe Kravitz, star of the Divergent series and Mad Max: Fury Road, is in fact a celebrity kid. Maybe you didn't peep the last name, but her parents, rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet (The Cosby Show), are pretty awesome (and hella good-looking to boot!).

  • Dakota Johnson

Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey definitely became better acquainted with Dakota Johnson (of course, that's putting it mildly). But did you know her parents are Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson? She looks just like her mother!

  • Brooklyn Beckham

When your mom is Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham and your daddy is one of the sexiest men alive (David Beckham, for those living under a rock), it's not hard to imagine spending life in front of (and behind!) the cameras. Brooklyn Beckham is one cutie who is holding his own in the modeling and photography world. (Yes, this is the Brooklyn behind the latest Burberry ad campaign.)

  • Emma Roberts

While most people know Emma as Julia Roberts's niece, the 25-year-old Scream Queens star does in fact have a famous dad. Eric Roberts is a Golden Globe winner and an Academy Award–nominated actor who's been acting for more than 40 years.

  • Kelly Osbourne

It's crazy to think the reality show The Osbournes debuted back in 2002. While the world was hip to Ozzy Osbourne, we got to meet his family -- including wife Sharon and their daughter Kelly. Since then, Kelly Osbourne has become an on-air talent for shows like E!'s Fashion Police, Project Runway Junior, and Australia's Got Talent. She even placed third on a season of Dancing With the Stars.

The resemblance between Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Jordan Gerber is uncanny. (Those are AWESOME genes!) This mother-daughter duo will likely take over the world, considering Kaia has a budding career as a model.

  • Scott Eastwood

Dear God, please help us learn how to deal with the perfection known as Scott Eastwood. Known for his roles in Fury and The Longest Ride (Scott will also star in Fast 8), this Hollywood actor will likely keep us swooning for a long time (much like his dad Clint has for many generations).

  • Jaden & Willow Smith

You can't deny how successful the Smith family has become. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's children, Jaden, 18, and Willow, 15, are coming into their own. Jaden has acted in a series of movies -- even with his dad (The Pursuit of HappynessAfter Earth) -- and is currently turning heads as a model for Louis Vuitton. Like her bro, Willow isn't afraid to take on the modeling world and is now an ambassador for Chanel. When she's not posing for the cameras, Willow enjoys writing music and singing.

Come on, you know we couldn't make a list of famous celebrity kids without bringing up someone from the Karadashian-Jenner clan. For almost a decade, the world practically watched Kendall and Kylie Jenner grow up. Now 20 and 18 years old, the sister duo are making their own waves in the beauty world. Kendall has a killer high-fashion modeling career, while Kylie is dolling all of us up with her line of cosmetics. These two are so successful that it can be hard to remember their parents are Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) and Kris Jenner.

  • Sarah Sutherland

On the hit HBO show Veep, actress Sarah Sutherland plays Catherine Meyer, daughter of former vice president-turned-president of the United States, Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). In real life, Sarah is the daughter of actor Kiefer Sutherland who, ironically, might become POTUS in the upcoming show Designated Survivor

  • Lily Collins

And then there's this guy. The baddest ass there ever was. Or as I like to call him, dad...

It must be incredibly hard to try and follow in a man like Phil Collins's footsteps. Thankfully, his daughter Lily Collins is moving to the beat of her own drum. The Mirror Mirror actress has a steady acting career and continues to advocate for the victims of bullying, as an ambassador for the organization Bystander Revolution.

  • Greer Grammer

Being the daughter of Kelsey Grammer is anything but Awkward for Greer Grammer. The 24-year-old MTV star is following in her father's footsteps, though Greer admits to Yahoo that life as a celebrity's child was kinda normal: "My parents didn't buy me things just to buy me things. They bought me things if I got good grades or if I got a lead role in a musical or something, but I wasn't just a spoiled kid," she said.

  • Patrick Schwarzenegger

While most of us were turned on to Patrick Schwarzenegger when he was dating Miley Cyrus, this strapping young lad is definitely making a name for himself -- one that extends beyond the shadow of his famous dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not only does this 22-year-old own businesses, but Patrick Schwarzenegger also has a smoking hot modeling career.

  • Lily-Rose Depp

Although Lily-Rose Depp isn't as seasoned of an actor as her famous dad (that's Johnny Depp, in case you didn't catch the connection), the 17-year-old has become a growing force in the modeling world. Lily-Rose Depp made her debut as a model two years ago, gracing magazine covers and scoring a sweet deal with Chanel.

  • Rumer Willis

    Love these people ・・・
The original 5!!!!! #FamilyTrumpsAll ❤️😍

Seeing as Rumer Willis won season 20 of Dancing With the Stars (that's her dressed up as Ursula) -- and you kinda have to be a star in order to get on that show -- yeah, it's safe to say this 27-year-old is a celebrity. The eldest of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's children, Rumer has acted in both film and television over the years. She even took on the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago -- and that kinda makes her a total badass.
