Jessa Duggar Gets Cruelly Mocked for Her Faith

Oyza. The Duggar family may be just as famous for their faith as for their procreation prowess, but is that really a reason to mock them? Jessa (Duggar) Seewald recently posted about her faith in the Bible, and commenters on Instagram did not hold back in insulting her beliefs.

Earlier this week, the Jill and Jessa: Counting On star posted a photo on social media of the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, a 500-foot replica of the Noah's Ark from the Bible.

However, some of the commenters weren't so nice about Jessa's Biblical belief that the Earth was once flooded, and all of humanity, and the non-sea-faring animals, were saved on a boat built in the desert.

Someone wrote, "What did they feed the lions and alligators back in the day? Were bug species brought on? Just curious..." We're just guessing, but they have likely never heard the theory of the lions surviving on the dead bodies of floating sinners.

In all seriousness, why are people jumping on Jessa like this? Even someone who may believe in the ark story of the Bible wrote, "Wow this could've easily been used to help others."

Sure, if there was an ark that saved the human race, it would be easy to question why it was only a few people. Or maybe, after everything Jessa has been through in the last year, she takes comfort in knowing that God saves His people.

Maybe we could just have a little compassion for Jessa, instead of jumping all over her beliefs.
