The first full week of July has been full of devastation and heartbreak for not only the black community, but for all of America. We've lost way too many people and there's nothing that can justify that. Period. But one thing I can say without a doubt is that this week has been a living testament to what happens when people let fear and hatred rule their lives -- it simply turns into tragedy.

In the recent chain of events, I think it's safe to say that we've all felt a great deal of emotions -- from anger and confusion to overwhelming sadness and hopelessness. However, sometimes those emotions can be difficult to express, and that's why we've rounded up 28 famous voices who perfectly encompass the emotions that we feel for Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, the Dallas police officers, and all of their families who experienced unjust and fatal violence.
