16 Favorite Celebrity Couples of the '90s -- Where Are They Now?

From Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt's whirlwind relationship to Justin and Britney's young love, the '90s was a decade full of hot celebrity romances — and we followed their every move. Some of these couples are still together and some were just fleeting romances, but it's still fun to take a look back to see where they were then and what they're up to now.

Some of these couples you may have forgotten about — remember Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere? They were married for four years! Find out what the supermodel and her movie star beau, as well as several other celebrity couples from the '90s, are up to now.

  • Kurt Cobain & Courtney Love


    One of the best known celeb couples of the '90s were Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain and lead singer of the grunge band Hole, Courtney Love. Courtney was pregnant at their wedding in 1992 with their daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. Two years after their wedding, Kurt Cobain committed suicide, leaving his wife a widow, his daughter fatherless, and millions of Nirvana fans stunned.

    Married for almost two decades, Will and Jada Smith have always kept it real. Whether they are balancing their separate acting careers or their family life with their star children Willow and Jade, they just appear down-to-earth. The couple first met in 1994 on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where Jada auditioned for the part of Will's girlfriend but didn't get it because she was too short. Looks like she ended up with a better part in the long run.

No matter, they're both celebs in their own right -- Sean Combs has retired from music and is focusing on family and films. And J. Lo is a celebrated actress, singer, and proud mom to her twins, Max and Emme.

    Just on the cusp of a '90s romance but one of our favorites (because how can you not love it that two Mouseketeers found love?), we have to list Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake! The cute singing duo dated from 1999 to 2002 before they parted ways and broke the hearts of teeny-boppers everywhere.

    Johnny Depp was 10 years older than 17-year-old Winona Ryder when they met, starred in Edward Scissorhands together, fell in love, and got engaged. While he had already been married and divorced, this was Winona's first love. After three years, the couple broke up. It appears that Winona is currently not dating anyone, and Johnny Depp is dealing with divorce drama with Amber Heard. Maybe he should have stuck it out with Winona. After all, he did have a tattoo that said Winona Forever.

Tom went on to marry Katie Holmes and they had a daughter, Suri, and later divorced. Nicole has seemed to have found her happily-ever-after with Keith Urban, whom she is married to. She and Keith have two daughters.

    Reese and Ryan were already dating when they filmed the movie Cruel Intentions, and were married in 1999. That marriage produced two children but it didn't last and they divorced in 2007. The good news is that Reese and Ryan are committed to co-parenting and remain friends.

Elizabeth has a son and, interestingly, Hugh is the godfather!

    Sarah and Freddie met in 1997 while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer and starred again together in Scooby-Doo. They were married in 2002, and have two children together. By the looks of Sarah's Instagram, they are still very much in love!
