Kate Middleton Admits Princess Charlotte Isn't as Sweet as She Looks

It's more or less a preordained fact that 1-year-old babies will be a bit of a handful, and as it turns out, that rule applies to princesses, too. Princess Charlotte made her first public appearance over the weekend, and Duchess Kate admitted that her daughter has a "feisty side."

Charlotte's appearance was in honor of her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The whole fam was attending yet another celebration of the queen's 90th birthday -- this time, it was a National Service of Thanksgiving.

Charlotte made her appearance on Saturday, but it was Friday that Kate chatted with the host's wife, Glynis Double, about the little princess.

According to Us Weekly, Kate told Double that Charlotte's "...very cute, but she has got quite a feisty side."

We'd believe it. What 1-year-old doesn't? Plus, as she grows up, a feisty princess would be way more fun. Now that Harry's grown up, we need another royal wild child.

Us said Kate also told Double that George was "...a really lovely little boy," and that she hopes he can keep Char in check as they grow up.

Somehow, we doubt it. Charlotte's got a strong spirit. We can't wait to see her grow up!
