11 Damn Good Reasons More Men Need to Be Just Like Our Bae Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling

Since the first time I knowingly laid eyes on Ryan Gosling in The Notebook, I knew I'd love him forever and always. But, what I didn't know was that he'd possibly be able to make me love him even more. He recently did just that in an interview with Evening Standard, charming the pants off millions of women with his feminist comments about women. Simply put, he's won us over for good.

While discussing growing up in a single-mom household and now living in a female-dominated household, he gave us this swoon-worthy gem:

I think women are better than men. They are stronger, more evolved. You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.

And Gosling thinks it's high time other fellas get on board, or on "the receiving end of the stick." Although we're not exactly sure what stick he is referring to, we do think Gosling has plenty of admirable qualities that other men need to get on board with.

So, we came up with 11 ways men could stand to be a little more like our bae, Ryan Gosling.

1. He's good-looking, duh.

Besides, the looks don't just stop with his face. See?!

2. But said good looks don't reduce his other charms.

You know? Intellect, home training -- the deep stuff.

3. He's got hair versatility going for him.

Shave, don't shave. Grow a mullet, a goatee, or whatever the hell you please -- you will always look good. And that, my friend, most men just don't have.

4. He understands how creepy the male species can be.

We know it, ladies, but most men just don't get it, or perhaps they think it's harmless. In the Evening Standard interview, he recalls how scary it was as a young boy having men circle in on his mother, checking her out on a "predatory" hunt.

5. He's got a sensitive side.

Of course, I prefer my men sensitively balanced, because everything is better in moderation -- and from the looks of it, Ryan has it mastered.

6. It seems that his mother raised him right.

Obvi, I don't know the ins and outs of his relationship with his mother or the other women in his life. But when a guy is comfortable enough declaring that women are, in fact, better than men -- well, his mother did a damn good job. Just saying.

7. He seems pretty damn fertile.

That's always a plus, right?

8. He's comfortable with himself.

(Off the record, Eva, what are we working with?) Okay, moving on -- he's well aware that women and gay men alike make a big "fuss" about him -- and he's not all up in arms about it.

9. He's no stick in the mud.

The guy clearly knows how to have fun, and, frankly, that's a necessity -- no one wants a snooze fest of a man, EVER.

10. If his real kisses are anything like the ones in his movies -- do I really need to say more?

The guy even makes forehead kisses look sensual.

11. Cloning isn't available to the public ... yet.

Guys, you might be the closest thing to the actual Ryan Gosling that I'll freakin' get. So get your sh*t together, guys.

This may seem like I'm asking you to be someone else, but no, that's not it at all. Come as yourself --  if yourself is a seemingly close replica of Ryan Gosling. Get it? Got it? Good.
