Young and carefree! On June 2, 1953, Queen Elizabeth became, well, queen -- that's 63 years ago today. Holy smokes! Both Kensington Palace and Clarence House have tweeted photos from Queen Elizabeth's coronation day when she was only 25 years ago, and wow! How far she's come!

Here, the queen, who's now 90 years young, is seen with Prince Philip (who doesn't look much different now!). Look at that smile! And that body language! There's no mistaking that this was a woman who just took reign.

Incredible. And here's another one of the queen reflecting on the job she'd just been given:

Wow. At the time, it's doubtful that Queen Elizabeth seemed uneasy or a little nervous to anyone, but looking at these photos, compared with her body language and demeanor now, she seems to have come so far!

It's pretty unbelievable to think that Elizabeth has been queen for this long. She was just a kid when she took on the role. Prince Charles is 67! When he becomes king, he'll have experienced so much more life than his mother did at her coronation. No doubt, his body language will be much different.

Kensington Palace and Clarence House are both great at sharing photos of the royal family. But, it's always a treat when they post throwback photos. Happy anniversary, Queen Elizabeth. Here's to many more years!
