Queen Elizabeth Scores a 'Vanity Fair' Cover for Her 90th Birthday

The queen's 90th birthday celebration has been a months-long affair, and the festivities aren't over yet: Queen Elizabeth scored the cover of Vanity Fair this month in honor of her birthday, and the photos are proof she's still got it. And also proof that corgis and dorgis remain among the cutest dogs in the universe.

The photos were taken by Annie Leibovitz, Vanity Fair's favored photographer. Annie said she want to make the queen as comfortable as possible, so it was totally QE's call in terms of who/where/what was in the shot with here.

The queen chose Windsor Palace and her dogs, Holly, Willow, Vulcan, and Candy, because of course she did. She also posed for a few shots with her husband, Prince Philip, and her daughter, Anne, but it was the shot with the corgis that ultimately made the cover.

If you ask us, 90 years is a pretty impressive feat, even if you're not the Queen of England. We're glad to see here celebrating in style -- she deserves it!
