'Fuller House' Star & Mom of 3 Candace Cameron Bure Chats About Her 'Rock Star' Husband & Recycling (VIDEO)

While Candace Cameron Bure and her TV alter ego D.J. Tanner may lead different lives, the pair do have some things in common -- like the fact that they’re both raising three kids and have some help doing it. "My husband is like a rock star!" says the 40-year-old actress in a recent interview with CafeMom. And it's a good thing, because the mom of three teens is also an actress, a talk show host -- and recently tapped as the spokeswoman for Unilever’s Reimagine Recycling campaign. Still, though, it's her family that comes first.

"At this point in life I just want to be with my family. It doesn't matter in what capacity. I just love being with my husband and my kids," she tells us of her dream Mother's Day plans. "I usually spend Mother's Day with my parents, my mom, and my sisters if they're in town. It's a family day. It's the togetherness. It's not really about what we do or any kind of gifts."

Family is definitely important to the Fuller House star and View co-host -- and her mother has been a huge influence in her life, especially when it comes to helping others. "My mom has such a heart for people," says the star. "My mom's front door is basically a revolving door, and she just loves to care for people. She loves to brighten people's day, and she loves to make people happy. It's her love that pours out, and I've always admired that and all of the charitable work that she does."

So, partnering with Unilever for the Reimagine Recycling initiative was right up her alley. The campaign aims to bring awareness to recycling bathroom products like shampoo, lotion, and makeup containers. "While I've always recycled my whole life, I didn't realize or think about recycling my bathroom products," she admits. "There's only 14 percent of American's that recycle their bathroom empties." Together Bure and Unilever are spreading the word in person and on social media.
