Gwyneth Paltrow's New $4.9 Million 'Fixer-Upper' Cali Home Looks Pretty Perfect to Us

Since Gwyneth Paltrow has all but conquered the food and fashion lifestyle domains, it makes sense that she's ready to move on to home renos. According to Trulia, Gwyneth's starting with a $4.9 million four-bedroom in Santa Barbara, California. They're calling it a "fixer upper," and we're calling it "the California house of our dreams."

The home, which looks pretty much flawless to our untrained eyes, sits on 2.5 acres of property. We're not sure if that number includes the three-bed, three-and-a-half-bath house on the property next door, but Gwyneth's purchase did.

The listing agent's name was Suzanne Perkins, and according to Tulia, this is what Gwyn's new home looks like from the front:

Coming in at an easy 5,022 square feet, the interior features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a conservatory-style sitting room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and 20-foot skylights.

Outside, there's a pool (naturally), a pond, and 2.5 acres of green space. This is the part that needs the heavy work. Apparently.

Luckily, Gwyneth doesn't have to rely on living in this monstrosity during the renovation -- she still has homes in Malibu, Los Angeles, New York, and London. Hopefully, one of them will do until this baby's up to standards.
