Jessa & Ben Seewald Get Ready for Their First International Trip With Spurgeon

He may be only 5 months old, but baby Spurgeon is already going on his first international trip. In a sneak peek for this week's episode of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, we watch Jessa and Ben Seewald prepare for a trip to Central America, where their son will meet his cousin Israel for the first time.

Jessa's sister and brother-in-law Jill and Derick Dillard have been working as missionaries in El Salvador for nearly a year now, and they haven't had an opportunity to see each other in person since Spurgeon was born last November.

Jill and Derick's son just turned 1, and while the boys have been able to coo at each other over Skype, this will be their first official cousin playdate.

While packing, Jessa explained that they'll be in a rural area of the developing country and therefore need to bring in everything Spurgeon needs, including sunscreen, bug spray, and diapers.

Of course, Ben sadly hilariously underestimates the amount of dipes his infant goes through on a daily basis.

Jessa and Ben will be traveling with several of her siblings, so there will be lots of hands on deck to help out with Spurgeon if he decides that the long airplane ride is not for him.

But we're sure that once he gets there, he'll be totally enthralled by his slightly older cousin. We can't wait to see the adorable pics!
