Queen Elizabeth & Princess Charlotte Are Twinning in Brand New Royal Photo

Happy Birthday, Queen Elizabeth! Thursday marks the queen's 90th birthday (seriously, 90!), and to celebrate, a positively adorable photo of the queen and all of her youngest grandkids and great-grandkids has been released. In the pic, Queen E has Princess Charlotte on her lap, and not only will it make you reflexively say "awww" out loud, but the queen and Charlotte also actually look a lot alike. Precious!

The photo, which was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, was snapped in the Green Drawing Room of Windsor Castle. According to People, an insider said that the vibe was very "relaxed and jolly." There also apparently wasn't any rhyme or reason to having seven of the queen's grandkids and five great-grandchildren in the photo. "It was felt to have just the younger ones," the palace insider said.

How cute is this? And how adorable is it that Princess Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth have matching pink cardigans? Oh, and the little girl holding the the queen's purse? That's 2-year-old Mia Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall's daughter. And it wasn't staged! She just did it. How perfect.

This really is an incredible photo -- perhaps one of the best we've ever seen from the royal family. Of course, the kids in their oh-so-British outfits are adorable, but it's so sweet to see this side of the queen. She looks so happy and playful here.

It's no wonder the queen is as sharp as a tack at 90 -- she has all these sweet grandchildren to keep her going. Happy Birthday, Queen Elizabeth! You are one lucky granny.
