Anna Duggar Admits Restoring Her Marriage With Josh Will Be a Challenge

This week on Jill and Jessa: Counting On, the older sisters (minus Jill, who is in Central America for the time being) took a little road trip for a girls' getaway weekend. Of course the topic of boys came up, and Anna Duggar reflected on how hard her path with Josh has been over the past year.

Anna was joined by sisters-in-law Jana, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy (along with babies Meredith and Spurgeon) for a long girls' weekend. It was Jessa's fisrt time away from hubby Ben Seewald for more than one night, but she said that she was glad for the sister-bonding time.

Of course Anna had been separated from her own husband Josh for nearly six months at the time this was filmed, while he completed an intense, faith-based rehab program in a neighboring state. He entered in August, one day after being caught in the Ashley Madison hack and subsequently confessing to cheating on Anna and being addicted to porn.

Anna decided to stick by her man, and has been fervently praying for God to restore her marriage. It doesn't mean that it's been easy for her, and she was obviously struggling with what to expect when Josh came home.

She shared, "Josh is about to finish up his program, so I'm really excited about that. I can definitely look back on the past few months and say it's been a hard road, but it's been a good road, and I know there's still a lot of work."

She continued, "I think it's daily [that] there's going to be a lot of work, and there kind of is a long process ahead, but we'll just take it one day at a time and keep trusting God and do the next right thing." Despite her optimism, she did admitted, "There's a lot of little steps before it's where it needs to be."

We wish nothing but the best for Anna, and we just hope that the long journey ahead is worth it to her in the end.
