Jessa Duggar's Husband Is Apparently an Aspiring Christian Rapper (VIDEO)

On this week's episode of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, viewers were treated to Ben Seewald rapping with Christian hip-hop artist Flame. Jessa traveled with her hubby and baby boy Spurgeon to St. Louis to meet up with Flame and another Christian pop singer V. Rose, and I think it was pretty clear that she was not entirely impressed when Ben stepped up to the mic.

Ben has been interested in reaching out to and mentoring kids in the inner city, and Flame said that hip-hop music is great way to reach them. He invited Ben and Jessa to observe one of their "think sessions," so they could see the process of turning ideas into musical reality.

God bless Jessa, who only good-naturedly ribbed her hubby when he tried to get into the culture and said, "Spittin' the bars."

Later in the episode, Flame took a break from the sound booth to let Ben lay down some beats while Jessa and Spurgeon looked on. I think it's safe to say that Ben shouldn't quit his day job anytime soon.

He blamed his pitchy performance on the technology, saying that the music in his earpiece was too loud. He explained, "I could feel that I was hitting a wrong note ... But I couldn't hear myself to correct it."

Sure, Ben. That's exactly what happened.
