Josh Duggar Is Reportedly Planning a Return to the Spotlight

Is Josh Duggar planning his return to public life already? It hardly seems possible, but according to an insider, the disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star is planning his future -- and it includes public speaking and maybe even TV.

Josh just recently got out of an intensive rehab program and has wisely been keeping a low profile. Last August, he admitted to being unfaithful to his wife Anna after he was caught in the Ashley Madison hack. He made a statement at the time in which he revealed that he also had an addiction to pornography, and he called himself the "biggest hypocrite ever" for leading a double life.

Now that he has completed rehab, the father of four is apparently trying to figure out how to make a living, and believes that public appearances are the way to go.

A source told Life & Style that he's contemplating the public speaking circuit. The insider revealed, "He has to make money and this could be very lucrative for him. It's likely Josh will travel the world to talk at Christian fundamentalist events this year."

He may even make an appearance on Jill and Jessa: Counting On, the Duggar spin-off show starring his siblings. So far all reports have indicated that he won't be seen on the show, but it's hard to tell if it will stay that way.

Let's be totally blunt: This is a terrible idea. Josh needs to focus on getting his life together, not making public appearances. He put his family through hell last year, and it's going to take a long time to rebuild those relationships, if ever.

And since Anna has made it pretty clear that she's planning on staying with him, he has a lot of ground to cover trying to make it up to her. Like, a lifetime of foot rubs and apologies and basically kissing the ground she walks on. Maybe he should focus on that instead of the public speaking circuit.
