Prince William Gets Un-Royally Real About His Hope for His Kids' Futures

Parents are forever envisioning their kids' future, aren't they? It's good to know that the royals are just like us when it comes to this sort of thing. Prince William recently spoke out on his dreams for George and Charlotte's futures, and we're kind of in love with his hopes for his children.

William said that he would love his kids to carry on his legacy of advocating for wildlife, especially in Africa.

"I'd definitely like to see George and Charlotte in Africa. They'd have a wonderful time, and I can see George being a bit of a bum sometimes out in the conservation world with his bangles and his sandals," the Duke of Cambridge shared in an interview this week with ITV News.

He continued, "I would love them to be interested in the subject and pursue the same sort of ideas and aims that I am."

It's not surprising that Prince William would love to see his kids follow in his footsteps by engaging in a cause so near and dear to his heart. He's been such an advocate for preserving African wildlife that there's even an annual award given in his name!

Even though nursery decor isn't necessarily indicative of future careers (there would be a lot more sailors if that were the case!), it's worth mentioning that Prince George's nursery is safari-themed. Just saying.
