Josh Duggar Is Officially Out of Rehab After 6 Months

Sources confirm this week that Josh Duggar has been released from rehab, after six months of intensive therapy in a faith-based setting. The troubled reality star entered the Illinois facility last August, immediately following his public confession that he was addicted to porn, and had been unfaithful to his beautiful wife Anna.

The 19 Kids and Counting star first made headlines last spring, when it was revealed that he had molested four of his sister and an underage babysitter when he was was a young teen. TLC cancelled the show over that one, but no one could have predicted that that wasn't all Josh was hiding.

When the notorious cheating website Ashley Madison was hacked over the summer, Josh was caught having two accounts. That's when he confessed and entered rehab.

According to insiders, he's "been out for a few days," although it's not clear where he is currently staying. Anna and their four children have been staying with his family in Arkansas, but I wouldn't be surprised if they've decided on another (secret) location for at least a few days before reentering the fray and dealing with the aftermath of his betrayal.

Last December, Anna made it clear on Jill and Jessa: Counting On that she plans to stay with her husband, and that she hopes that God will be able to restore their marriage.

It's going to take a lot more than six months in a treatment facility for them to rebuild the foundation of their relationship. For Anna's sake, I really hope that Josh has made some tremendous progress, and is ready to spend every day for the rest of his life showing her that he's a changed man.

And if not, I hope she has the courage and strength to move forward without him.
