Duggar Family Gets Real About Whether or Not They've Forgiven Josh

It has been a year fraught with scandal, but Josh Duggar's family is speaking out on forgiving him after he confessed to cheating on his wife and being addicted to porn in August 2015.

Since all that erupted, Josh has been receiving treatment at a faith-based rehab facility in Illinois for his addiction and getting counseling regarding his infidelities. As he finally prepares to head home, his siblings spoke to People about whether or not they are ready to forgive Josh.

It appears the unanimous answer is, yes, the family forgives him, but earning back their trust is going to take a very long time. We're not entirely surprised by the Duggars' very political answers regarding Josh, since they've always maintained a united front -- even when the horrifying secrets that he had molested his sisters came to light.

Jessa said:

I definitely have forgiven Josh. It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart. And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future.

Even Jessa's husband, Ben Seewald, says he has forgiven Josh and just wants to help in any way he can to make life easier for Josh's kids and wife Anna.

Let's just say they are all a heck of a lot more forgiving than most people would be. The Duggars' newest series Jill and Jessa: Counting On is coming to TLC in the coming months and we'll be interested to see how much they touch on Josh's rehab and the state of life in his household once he returns home.
