Vanessa Hudgens Shares Moving Image From Her Dad's Memorial Service

Vanessa Hudgens said good-bye to her father, Greg Hudgens, on Tuesday, less than two weeks after his passing on January 30 from stage IV cancer. The actress posted several moving posts from the memorial service for her dad, and continued to blow us away with how gracefully she's handling losing her father at such a young age.

The 27-year-old performed in Grease: Live, just hours after announcing her her dad's passing, and dedicated her performance to him. She totally nailed Rizzo in a show that would have made him proud. I like to think that he was still able to be there and see his girl knock it out of the park.

Hudgens shared a photo of her dad's memorial on social media this week, and gave us all the feels. The picture is of his grave site, and shows a photo of her dad in his firefighter uniform. She captioned it simply, "Rest in peace daddy."

Her dad was only 65 years old when he passed. Vanessa's sister Stella has been sharing her thoughts and gratitude for fans' support online as well. After Greg passed, Stella tweeted, "I don't know what to say. Thank you so much for the support ... I will miss my dad, but i'm so glad to have had such an amazing man in my life."

Vanessa also shared another image on the day after his death, which read, "I wish heaven had visiting hours." She added her own caption, "If only." Break our hearts!

No one should have to lose their daddy so young, but Vanessa seems to be doing an amazing job handling the emotions. I just hope that she knows it's okay to break down about it too -- the grief has to get out somehow.
