blue ivy beyonce videoBeyonce never fails to excite fans, and today, just a day before her halftime performance for the Super Bowl, Bey surprised us with a new song called "Formation," along with a video featuring Blue Ivy. Of course, it's amazing.

Prepare yourself. You will want to dance. You will be moved in many ways. You will be in awe of the power of Beyonce. You will also be in awe of 4-year-old Blue Ivy.

Also, explicit lyrics.

The song is exclusively on Tidal, and it's the first single from Bey in way too long. More coming soon, I hope! This is one of the songs she is going to perform tomorrow during halftime -- which also features Bruno Mars and Coldplay. I don't care about the game, but the halftime show ... oh my goodness, I cannot wait.

Back to Bey and this video ... it is set mostly in New Orleans (love that city), and this video brings up so many important issues while also making us want to dance. Bey does it again. She gets us thinking, wanting to act, wanting to move, wanting to change the world.

The decision to cast her daughter in the video is an interesting one, too. Power of the little ones. I love that she's there -- she is the future. She's just so cute, so mini-fierce. Blue is just so full of attitude and confidence and I feel like she really understands her mom's song "Run the World (Girls)." Yes!
