Our hearts almost stopped when we thought Cindy Crawford had announced that her modeling days were numbered. She's since clarified to say that she isn't exactly hanging up her modeling hat -- but she's just "eager to shift her focus" as she approaches 50. That's still a good excuse as any for us to take a look back on her prolific career -- which has inspired designers, photographers, models, fashionistas, and fans worldwide for almost three decades.

Crawford's flirty brand of wholesome, all-natural sex appeal has become a classic look, especially for those of us raised in the good 'ol '90s. Click through to reminisce about some of the supermodel's most memorable moments.
