Miley Cyrus to Star in Woody Allen's Amazon Series 'Cause She Loves Bad Ideas

Miley Cyrus is amazingly talented. She suffers from this disease that so many talented people in Hollyweird seem to suffer from, though, which is to make kinda dumb decisions and hang out with creepazoids. So it should come as no shock that her latest bit of news is about how she is starring in a Woody Allen series he is developing for Amazon

I'm not a fan of Woody Allen, especially because the entire world seems privy to his personal life and it's not painted in the most flattering picture. Not only did he marry the daughter he adopted with Mia Farrow, but his other adopted daughter Dylan Farrow alleged in an op-ed for the New York Times that he sexually abused her. To me, that should be enough to stay away from him. I know there are two sides to every story, but, fact is, he married his adopted daughter. Creepy. But Miley Cyrus is all too excited to work with the director:

I'm not concern-trolling Miley. She's an adult woman and she can make whatever decisions she wants, and I'm sure loads of people would jump at the chance to work with Allen, despite the allegations against him. I just can't help but think she could and should do better. Not only is she super excited about this project, but she also works with Terry Richardson, despite all the allegations of sexual abuse lodged at him too.

Even though Miley is all grown up now and obviously doing everything possible to shed her Hannah Montana persona, she still has a huge preteen and even younger fan base who admire her. I hate to think of what sort of message this gives to young victims of sexual abuse who look up to her.
