Kate Middleton & Prince William Will Meet Their Royal Twins on India Trip

Two of the most revered young royal couples in the West and East are going to meet and join forces this spring. Kate Middleton and Prince William's spring trip to India and Bhutan sounds even more amazing, thanks to a special visit they'll get to enjoy with their Eastern doppelgängers.

Similar to how Kate and Will are working to modernize the British royal family and make them seem more accessible to the world, they have royal counterparts in Bhutan -- which borders India and China -- who are on a like-minded quest. During their voyage to India and Bhutan, Will and Kate will meet up with King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his wife Jetsun Pema of Bhutan — and the royal quartet will have a lot to talk about because they have more in common than you probably suspect.

Queen Jetsun, 25, is expected to give birth to the couple's first child around the time Will and Kate visit, which automatically means she'll have a friend in Kate and Will, who can totally empathize with those first few sleepless nights. King Jigme is already acquainted with Kate and Will and actually attended their wedding, seven months before he married Jetsun in a three-day ceremony that was televised across Bhutan — a milestone for the remote, landlocked nation.

Folks in Bhutan weren't introduced to TV until 1999 and public displays of affection are actually banned — a rule the couple is slowly working to break by holding hands in public and, of course, declaring their love and commitment for each other on national TV.

But that's not all. Jetsun and Jigme both attended college in Great Britain — the king is a graduate of Oxford University, while the queen studied international relations, psychology, and history at Regents' College in London. Mental health issues are a serious concern for them and — if all of that isn't enough — Jetsun is admired for both her beauty and colorful traditional fashion choices. Sound familiar?

Will and Kate are going to find themselves in a fast friendship with their new soul mates — can't wait for the photos!
