Anna Duggar's Confession on 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' Will Break Your Heart

We saw the second installment of Jill and Jessa: Counting On on Sunday night, and Anna Duggar made a confession about her marriage that made me want to reach through the screen and give that woman a hug.

Anna has been living with her in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, while Josh has been away at a faith-based rehab center. He checked himself in immediately after confessing to cheating on Anna and their four kids last August, when he was caught in the Ashley Madison scandal.

Even though she's been living with Josh's family, she hasn't acknowledged her intentions for the future of her marriage. It's her choice entirely if she wants to divorce Josh and move on with life, but I couldn't help but root for her to make that decision. She deserves a fresh start, and even if she can forgive Josh, it doesn't mean she has to live with him.

But Anna admitted that she misses him, and she tearfully said, "In my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, 'For better or for worse. 'Til death do we part...' I pray that through all of this that I would be an extension of God's love to Joshua, that I would love him and forgive him and wait patiently and allow God to work through our hearts."

"My prayer and my heart's desire is for our marriage to be restored," she said.

Maybe Anna's just a better person than I am, but I don't think I could continue to be with someone who betrayed me that severely. And she doesn't have to. Divorce sucks, but sometimes it really is the best option. My only worry for Anna right now is that she might not realize that it's really okay to take care yourself and your own emotional well-being.

Joy-Anna talked about her sister-in-law's strength, saying, "I'm really amazed by the strength that God has given Anna and just how she's going through all of this and having a good attitude about it all even though it's so hard and you know it hurts really bad."

Being strong is great, but it's also okay to fall apart, especially after everything Anna has been through. I just hope she's taking care of herself these days.
