More from The Stir: Princess Charlotte's First Christmas May Be Overshadowed by Prince George

The couple recently trimmed a nine-foot tree, and Prince George was thrilled to lend a hand in adding some decorations. A couple of weeks ago, he was spotted with Kate at a local garden center, where she allowed him to pick out a couple of ornaments of his own, even though a source says he wanted everything in sight. The prince's pick? A penguin ornament. We love this kid!

We really hope the palace releases some holiday portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte -- we can't get enough of those kids. Of course our question is -- what does Santa Claus bring royal toddlers and infants? This is certainly one instance where we don't envy the big guy in red. But, oh, to be a fly on the wall when Prince George wakes up on Christmas morning. It's going to be too cute.
