Rob Kardashian Reappears in Adorable Instagram Post (PHOTO)

rob kardashian, kris jennerSince his very notable absence from the Kardashian/Jenner clan's all-inclusive Thanksgiving photo, everybody's been worried about Rob Kardashian's whereabouts (actually, everybody's been worried about his whereabouts for way longer than that). But now Rob is finally back on social media, even if he's still not exactly showing his face.

In a too-cute Instagram post showing major love and support for Rob's youngest sister Kylie Jenner, the 28-year-old reality star suggested that he's doing just fine, while still managing to stay out of the spotlight:

I guess someone is disappointed they didn't get Kylie's lipkit!!!! Don't worry buddy more coming soon!

That face!! Wasn't that very clever of Rob, posting an adorable shot of his dog's face to distract everyone from the fact that practically no one has seen his face in the past year? Although really, I doubt the whole thing was that contrived -- I think Rob probably just thought this was a really cute shot and wanted to give makeup maven Kylie a shout-out. Which is pretty sweet.

And hey, at least we know his spirits are high enough for him to be posing his dog in front of a camera and making jokes! As for that Thanksgiving photo op omission, Kris Jenner has since explained (during an interview with Maria Menounos) that Rob was actually around for the Thanksgiving feast at Khloe's house, he just wasn't feeling the group shot vibe.

"He lives with Khloe,” Kris said. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house. He’s doing all right. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.”

We certainly hope that's true! Hey, plenty of us hit rough patches in our 20's -- it's got to be tough when your personal rough patch happens in front of millions of people. It's still super sad that Rob is so down on himself because of his 100 pound weight gain, but hopefully he'll figure out sooner or later that he's a person of value at any size, and that a human being's worth isn't measured in "likes" on a selfie.

We're rooting for you, Rob!
