Prince Harry Says He's Way Cooler Than Prince William -- Duh

On a recent trip to visit unprivileged children in Africa, the cat was let out of the bag about who the hippest prince really is (as if we didn't know). Prince Harry admitted he’s way cooler than Prince William and revealed he always wanted to be a bad boy.

The 31-year-old prince visited a correction center in South Africa populated mainly by young gang members. Many of the children didn’t even know who he was and he humbly introduced himself to them as, "Prince Harry, the Queen of England's grandson, Princess Diana's son," before saying, "I came all the way from England to hear all your stories."

Prince Harry told the youngsters he never felt comfortable attending the posh Eton school and always wanted to be a "bad boy" when he was little. He then encouraged them to seek a path other than one that would lead to trouble and danger and emphasized the importance of having positive role models.

And that's where Will comes in. He reportedly said, "If you’ve got an older brother that's not into gangs, that's a huge positive. Older brothers are supposedly the cool ones."

But that’s not the case in the royal family, as we all know -- and Harry had no problem stating that fact: "I'm a younger brother, but I'm much cooler than my older brother."

When the program director laughed and assured Harry his secret was safe with them, the prince made it known that William is well aware of his less-cool status in the family -- ha!

It’s difficult to say exactly what it is that makes Harry the "cool one," but it’s true: he seems much more relaxed and at ease with himself and his place in the family, something that is probably a lot easier to do when you're fifth in line for the throne and know you can just cruise without so much pressure.

At the same time, Harry should be applauded for going out of his way to speak with children in need and for revealing a bit about himself and his own desires to break free from royal protocol. This is just one of the many reasons why he continues to be our favorite royal (not that William isn't right up there).
