Jim Bob Duggar's Rules for Controlling a Family Clearly Did Not Work for Him

Are you kidding me? Jim Bob Duggar put out some totally crazy advice about men being leaders in their homes, and I am all sorts of shaking my head over it. Heck, I love a Christian home, but I'm not a fan of this Bible-thumper's method.

The 19 Kids and Counting patriarch gave out some spiritual advice about being a leader in the home. He said, "A great way to start being the spiritual leader and coach of your home is to ask Jesus to forgive you for the things you have done wrong ... and ask Him to take over the steering wheel of your life."

Jesus Take the Wheel, just like Carrie Underwood said, right?

Yeah, but Jim Bob had even more advice when it came to keeping his children pure specimens of the Lord. He said:

Start protecting your family by removing books, magazines, television, or internet that have worldly or sensual content ... Replace them with good things like wholesome music, biographies of great Christians, good old-fashioned family fun and games.

It sounds like Jim Bob has a lot of things to answer for, regarding his spirituality. It actually sounds like he's being a bit of a control freak when it comes to their kids Jana and John-David Duggar.
