Jennifer Lawrence Says She Feels Guilty About Kissing a Married Man

God bless this woman for keeping it real. Jennifer Lawrence kissed a married man, and then opened up about the tremendous guilt she felt over it. Oh yeah, and she was drunk at the time of canoodling too.

In all fairness, it was for a sex scene for her new movie Passengers, and the married man was her co-star Chris Pratt.

The sex scene was a first for JLaw, and she said that she couldn't help but feel guilty about kissing Anna Faris's husband. While participating in The Hollywood Reporter's "Actress Roundtable," fellow actress Cate Blanchett asked Lawrence about doing her first "real sex scene."

"I got really, really drunk," she responded. Ha! She called it a "bizarre experience," even though nobody was actually doing anything wrong. They're actors, after all. But he's still married. Yup, we get how it could be bizarre.

After admitting to her inebriation, Jennifer said that it likely made things even worse. She explained, "But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.'"

She continued:

It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach ... And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, 'Will you just tell me it's okay?' It was just very vulnerable. And you don't know what's too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then ... That was the most vulnerable I've ever been.

Haven't you always wondered how actors felt doing sex scenes? I love that Jen told it like it is, instead of just being cool about it and pretending like it's no big deal. Kissing someone else's husband or wife is a big deal, even if it's just part of the job description.

Actors want their characters to as real as possible -- including feeling the passion for love scenes. I'm with JLaw ... I'd probably have to throw a few back too.
