Uh-Oh, Looks Like Leah Remini Is in Hot Water With Tom Cruise Over Scientology Tell-All

Tom CruiseBook publishing can be ... risky business! Leah Remini's been sharing some super unflattering stories about Tom Cruise, and he's reportedly really, really not happy about it. Like, at all.

The Mission: Impossible star is "freaking out" about Leah's exposé, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, and her ensuing press tour, a source tells Us Weekly. "He thinks it's a major betrayal," the source said.

Rumor also has it Tom wants to do a sit-down interview with Oprah so he can do some damage control. Hmmm. Not sure the world has recuperated from Tom's famous Oprah appearance a decade ago:

If Tom really is furious with Leah, it's not surprising ... there are some truly awful stories about him in the tell-all, even though she does say meeting him for the first time was "magical."

I'm not sure which story is more bizarre ... there's the weird cookie dough incident, which Leah writes involved Tom wanting to bake cookies (um ... okay??). Supposedly he became furious with his assistants because he couldn't find the cookie-making stuff, and they were apparently too scared to point out the log of pre-made cookie dough sitting on the counter. Right in front of him. According to Vulture, Leah writes in the book:

Still not noticing the log of pre-made dough on the counter, Tom raised his hand above his head. "LRH [L. Ron Hubbard] is here," he said, then lowered his hand to his chin and said, "And Dave and I are here." Then, with his hand down at his waist, he said, "And you are here."

Alrighty then!

There's a TON of weirdness in the book around Tom's wedding to Katie Holmes, including, but not limited to, that incident where Leah says baby Suri was left alone to cry on a bathroom floor and everyone just stood there looking at her.

And that's just the beginning. It gets weirder and weirder. Leah says that not only did Tom and Katie ask her to invite Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to their big day, but that Leah got into major trouble with the church for being "loud and rude" at the wedding.

I must say, the thought of Tom Cruise being freakishly mad at me is a little alarming. Is it just me, or is there something just a little scary about that guy? He's a hottie still (at 53!), and a great actor (yes, I said it), but he's so intense. I mean, please see Exhibit A:

YIKES.

However,  I'm pretty sure that Leah doesn't give a rat's patootie about what Tom Cruise thinks at this point. She's published her book -- in itself a ballsy move! -- and by her own account, she must know Tom well enough to have been able to predict his reaction. Not to mention the lash-back from the "church" itself. That's one brave woman!
