When you’re living life in the spotlight, it’s hard to keep much of anything under raps — let alone a split from your partner, who happens to be another celebrity. Often, these high-profile divorces can get downright ugly.

Here are 17 couples who defy Tinseltown stereotypes, eschewing custody wars and tabloid scandals in favor of quietly raising their families and moving on with grace and dignity. These celebs are proof that not every Hollywood love story is a fairy tale — or a train wreck.

    Friends before they wed in 2004, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have frequently made appearances together since their 2011 split, supporting one another at concerts, events, and on the red carpet. The pair co-parents twins Max and Emme. As Lopez told the Today Show, “You never want to break up a family.”

They even took their kids to Disneyland together this summer, prompting the Daily Mail to declare them "the happiest exes on Earth."

Phillippe told HuffPo Live, "It's a feeling out process and I think we've gotten to a really great place," he said. "She's happy and remarried and our kids are incredible. I'm proud of the way we've handled it and who our little people are."
