Life-Size Prince George Cake Is Way Too Spooky to Eat (PHOTO)

There was no shortage of great ideas at the 2015 Cake International competition in England, but one definitely took the cake (sorry, had to do it). British baker Lara Clarke created a life-size cake version of Prince George, and, while it's certainly impressive, it's also a little too spooky to dig into.

Clarke is known for her striking cake masterpieces, and this isn't the first time she has derived inspiration from a celebrity. Last year she made a life-sized Jennifer Lawrence cake, and the year before that she created Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Her skills are beyond incredible, and her latest culinary treat depicts the 2-year-old royal decked out in the iconic red shorts and embroidered shirt he wore at Princess Charlotte's christening:

Clarke explained to People why she decided to make a royal tot cake this year:

I actually got married two weeks ago, so with there being such a short amount of time, I had to go a lot smaller this year. Plus the judges recommended that I did a recognizable character. Who is more recognizable than our future king?

Folks, that cake took her 30 hours to make — amazing. What's even more incredible is that she makes it sound like she was forced to make this small, minor cake because she had a wedding to plan. By that logic, had she more time, she would have probably recreated Charlotte's entire christening party!

She took home a gold award for the cake, which I believe she certainly deserved.

Of course, we're all wondering how Kate Middleton and Prince William would feel about this cake, aren't we? If I came face-to-face with a dessert version of my toddler, I'd be impressed, but there's no way on earth I'd want to eat a slice or watch anyone else dig into my son. It's just too weird!
