Khloe has stayed quiet on social media since October 13 when she immediately went to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas to be with her ex. She has been in charge of making medical decisions regarding his care, and thankfully things are looking positive. Lamar is now at a Los Angeles hospital continuing his care. Khloe's statement reads:

The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!

This is a fantastic sign that things continue to improve for Lamar, and I love that Lamar's family and loved ones have all come together to think nothing but positive thoughts for him to make a full recovery. It was also said that Khloe put her relationship with James Harden on hold, which is completely understandable. She needs to be there for Lamar, and I love that she is so selfless and caring that she would do whatever it takes to help him recover. She loves Lamar -- she has said that she always will.

One of my friends noted that we "all know a Lamar," and I certainly do. He or she is that someone who is so loved but is troubled by a difficult past, someone who looked to drugs for an escape from the pain. Sadly, people like Lamar don't often get another chance after an overdose, but I am so happy that Lamar did. I am hoping for a full recovery for him, and it's truly beautiful he has such love and support all around him. May we continue to hear nothing but good news.
