Lamar Odom Has Been Transferred to Los Angeles to Continue the Healing Process

lamar odomThe good news keeps on coming. After his stay at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a drug overdose, Lamar Odom has been transferred to Los Angeles. The former NBA star was airlifted Monday night to L.A. with Khloe Kardashian, where he'll continue to receive treatment.

According to sources, Lamar has been showing signs -- albeit small ones -- of improvement ever since he woke up from his coma on Friday. Slowly he seems to be getting better, and appears to be on the road to recovery. That said, though, insiders say he still has a long road ahead. A source told Us Weekly, "He's still getting better little by little. The doctors are starting to talk about plans for what happens when he gets out, and that's how rehab came up, but he still has a ways to go."

Reportedly, Kris Jenner and Khloe have arranged for Lamar's care in Los Angeles "so they can be closer to him," said the Us source. Khloe, who technically is still married to Lamar, hasn't left his side since he was taken to the hospital in Vegas last week. She supposedly is the one making all of the decisions for him.

So far, Lamar seems to be making really great progress. He wasn't even at Sunrise Hospital for a week, which definitely is a good sign. As everyone has said, though, it's baby steps, and his friends and family are all hoping for the best.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Khloe and Lamar as he continues to recover. From the sound of things, she doesn't have any plans to leave him anytime soon. Let's all just hope Khloe proceeds with caution, though. Making decisions in the wake of tragedy is never a great idea.
