Being a mom is no easy task, so hats off to these hot Hollywood mamas who balance a career and children on their own. Granted, they have more help than the average single mom has, but help or no help, the paparazzi often catch these celebrity mamas as hands-on as the rest of us.

    Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron adopted son Jackson when she was 36. Known for her work with HIV/AIDS in South Africa, her philanthropy took on even more meaning after adopting Jackson from South Africa. How does the gorgeous star feel about her little man? "He's heaven on toast."

    It's not often that you see Sandra Bullock without her sidekick, son Louis Bardo. Bullock started the adoption process when she was married to Jesse James, but while the marriage didn't last, Bullock got her happy ending when Louis's four-year adoption process was finalized in 2010. Rumor has it that Bullock, 51, has adopted a baby girl, too, making Louis a big brother. But she has not yet confirmed.

    Ahhh the juggling act. What single, working mom can't relate to Michelle Williams, who dished to People magazine that she's good at being a mom when she's "not working"? Williams has been raising daughter Matilda Rose, now 9, alone since the death of the child's father and Wiliams's ex, Heath Ledger, in 2008. What does Williams credit for her sanity? Yoga.

Not only does she raise two daughters, Sam and Lola, with ex Charlie Sheen by herself, but the star even adopted another daughter, Eloise Joni Richards. And while it was no easy endeavor, Richards took in Sheen's twins with Brooke Mueller when a judge declared Sheen and Mueller incapable of caring for the boys. Richards, the ever hands-on mom, is often spotted out and about with her three girls.
