Prince William Prince HarryPrince Harry recently shared that his late mother, Princess Diana, is the inspiration behind his charity work. Both Harry and Prince William honor their mother's inspiring legacy through extensive philanthropy.

From children's health and education to rehabilitation and professional training for veterans to wildlife conservation, they champion a broad range of important causes. We love that Harry and William use their royal status to make the world a better place because they want to follow their mother's example.

  • Homes for Veterans

    William and Harry volunteered with the BBC's DIY SOS The Big Build team last month for their Homes for Veterans special. They helped transform deserted properties on a run-down street in Manchester into homes for veterans.

  • Sentebale

    Prince Harry co-founded Sentebale with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The charity supports children who are the victims of extreme poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Lesotho.

  • The Royal Marsden Hospital

    Prince William has been president of The Royal Marsden, a hospital specializing in cancer treatment, since 2007. The last person to serve as president of the hospital was William's late mother, Diana. 

  • Walking With the Wounded

    Harry participated in Walking With the Wounded's Walk of Britain in September. Walking With the Wounded provides assistance to injured veterans so that they can reintegrate into society and find careers after their military service.
