Jennifer Lawrence Calls Donald Trump Out on His Joke of a Campaign

Whoa, Jennifer Lawrence has some pretty strong feelings about Donald Trump -- and they aren't exactly positive ones. Think more along the lines of how Katniss in The Hunger Games feels about President Snow. During a press interview for Mockingjay: Part 2 recently, the 2016 presidential nominee's name came up.

JLaw joked to Entertainment Weekly, "If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world." At least we think she was joking.

She's not the only one of the Mockingjay stars who feels that way about The Donald either. Liam Hemsworth agreed, saying, "I'll back you up on that," and Josh Hutcherson called Trump's candidacy a "publicity stunt."

Lawrence shared her thoughts that reality TV has changed our view of a presidential campaign from something serious into entertainment. Trump's campaign certainly seems to be entertaining, which is completely cringeworthy when you realize there are people out there who genuinely support this man.

She observed that the Apprentice star embodies what some people want to say, but don't feel like they have the nerve to say. She shared a story of watching someone say that they loved Trump because he's not afraid of the PC factor.

She mocked that sentiment, saying, "You are absolutely right. That's who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect."

It's OK, Jen. We think Donald Trump's campaign is a joke too. It's a spectacle, if nothing else. And Lord help us if he makes it through the primaries.
