Julianne Hough Couldn't Look More in Love on First Red Carpet Since Engagement

Her happiness is contagious! Julianne Hough stepped out with Brooks Laich for the first time since the two became engaged, and she was all smiles. They both were, actually, and looked so crazy in love that we couldn't help but feel their joy from here.

The Dancing with the Stars judge sported a huge grin along with her gorgeous Lorraine Schwartz ring at the Television Academy’s Emmy Awards Choreographer Nominee Reception over the weekend. A source told Us Weekly, "Julianne held her guy's hand, laughed and grinned like crazy ... [She] introduced [him] to everyone."

Awww, it sounds like she couldn't be happier if she tried!

It was also the first time the newly engaged couple have ventured out to a public event together since the NHL star popped the question. The two have been dating for nearly two years, and it will be a first marriage for both.

Joining the lovebirds at the event were Julianne's brother and fellow dancer Derek Hough, DWTS cast member Witney Carson, and dancers Tessandra Chavez and Travis Wall. The group gushed about about the couple, while also toasting their Emmy nod for Outstanding Choreography for their "Elastic Heart" DWTS routine.

"He's a great guy. He's an amazing man,” Derek said. "It's good for all of us to sort of have somebody like that in our lives. So it's great."

Witney Carson couldn't help but be bedazzled by Julianne's gigantic 6-carat diamond ring. "It's crazy! It almost blinded me when I saw it. It's so big. I love it," she said. "They are just the cutest couple. They are perfect together."

As much as they're all looking forward to the wedding, there's one party that's going to happen much sooner. Julianne and Brooks will celebrate with loved ones next month at their engagement party. Wall said, "I'm going to their engagement party ... It should be fun."

How could it not be? It's hard to be around people as happy as these two and not have some of it rub off.
