Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Offer Man in Need of a Kidney a Pair of Pricey Shoes

kim kardashian, kanye westYou know how sometimes people say they'd give their left arm (or some other body part) for something they really want? Well, one Kanye West fan is trying for a reverse version of this concept by offering up his pair of rare, very expensive Yeezy Boosts for a kidney. And Kim and Kanye have offered to help!

According to TMZ, a man named Matt Neal who's suffering from a condition called Berger's disease (which causes kidney failure) is on the lookout for a new kidney. Unfortunately, he's currently very, very far down on the organ transplant waiting list. So to speed up the process, Neal is offering his pare of rare Yeezy Boosts (which can go for thousands online) in exchange for a healthy new kidney.

Wow. Who would actually trade their kidney for a pair of shoes, you ask? Well, probably someone -- these are Yeezy Boosts, after all. Alas, trading organs for goods and/or money is illegal, so this method probably won't work out for Neal. But if it did, theoretically, he'd still break even in the shoe department, because Kim Kardashian and Yeezy Boost creator, Kanye West, have apparently gotten wind of Neal's situation, and have said that they will happily replace Neal's pair of Yeezy Boosts if, in fact, someone does take him up on his offer.

Well! That IS very nice of Kanye and Kim, isn't it? I mean, it's not every gravely ill patient who gets the attention of Yeezus himself. As it turns out, since Neal's case has made headlines, so many people have offered to donate kidneys for free that he probably won't have to part with his shoes after all -- but maybe Kanye and Kim could send along a pair anyway! Just as a sort of get well gift. I'm sure it would mean a lot to Neal. Since he's clearly a fan.

Just a thought, Kanye and Kim! You know you can spare a pair! YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A PAIR TO SPARE!
