Lisa Kudrow Recruits a New 'Friend' to Reprise Her Role as Phoebe Buffay (VIDEO)

And here Taylor Swift concert goers in Los Angeles thought they were just going to see the 1989 hit-maker onstage! But Tay Tay invited a special "friend" to join her for a duet, and she ended up stealing the show. Lisa Kudrow sang "Smelly Cat" with Swift, and it was fabulously hilarious.

During a tour stop at Staples Center in L.A. this week, Lisa Kudrow joined the "Shake It Off" singer as her Friends alter ego, Phoebe Buffay.

T-Swizzle introduced her as Phoebe, of course, and they both played their acoustic guitars to sing the infamous song. Kudrow offered her advice, telling her protégé, "That was good, but you have to really feel the lyrics."

It's not your fault!

Kudrow is hardly the first major star to appear alongside Taylor, who made headlines earlier this summer for her music video for "Bad Blood," which was basically a who's who of the celebrity world.

During this concert alone, Justin Timberlake joined for his first performance since becoming a dad, and Swift's good friend Selena Gomez also sang a duet with the star.

Less than two weeks ago, A-lister Julia Roberts joined Tay for a show. Other surprise guests in the past have included Mariska Hargitay, Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Alanis Morissette, Natalie Maines, and more.

But the best has to be "Smelly Cat."
